Drilling machines are mainly for industrial use (woodworking and furniture making), and are used in the second phase of wood processing, producing holes or slots in the solid timber. Indeed, they are used to make groups of multiple holes on the insides of wardrobes and cupboards.
WHO USES THE WOOD DRILLING MACHINES?
This type of machine is very useful in cases where precise drilling of the panel or of the solid wood is needed. This is especially so in the furniture industry that requires the creation of holes in the interiors or shelves of wardrobes and other items.

MORTISING MACHINES
RS Wood has the widest assortment of wood mortising machines for making holes in wood; from the smallest machine - such as the CTF100 - dedicated to demands of small carpentry businesses through to our mortising machine which is well-suited to handle the requirements of the largest factories.
In addition all the different configurations are available:

All machines are customizable and, on request, you can install the rotary table 45 ° left and right. fundamental characteristic for the production of stairs.
DRILLING MACHINES
Other members of this same family of machines include drilling machines and numerical controlled boring machines. These machines are nothing other than numerical controlled drilling machines able to create slotted holes and any type of milling, particularly those in doors, wardrobes and other furniture. These machines are operated via a control panel and thus ensure greater precision.
MULTI BORING MACHINES
Multi boring machines can create batteries of multiple holes in wardrobes and other furniture items; in this way the worker can reduce the time spent on each individual piece. The machine can only produce batteries of classic holes.

LOUVRE GROOVER FOR SHUTTERS
This machine is wholly dedicated to making inclined slotted holes for louvre shutter slats; it can also execute non-inclined holes for cross slats in continental bed frames.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF WOOD DRILLING MACHINES
- The machines have a supporting structure in sheet metal and other parts in cast iron that provide strength and stability.
- The mortiser group operates on the horizontal, vertical and longitudinal.
- All grooving machines are customisable and can be made with a tilting head: this choice cuts processing time as it is not necessary for the operator to physically move while carryout out the work.
- The mortiser group can also be produced without the base and attached to other machines.
SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
The slotting are made according to EC legislation on security systems are therefore perfectly machines tested and certified. The maintenance operations only include a periodic cleaning after use and a correct lubrication of the moving parts.

WARRANTY
All RS WOOD - CMC products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance conditions. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.
INSTALLATION
The installation service offered by the company is carried out by specialized dealers, present over most of the territory, both nationally and internationally.
